Solo mission today, left the camera man at home. Somewhere in Colorado hangs a simple 3 ft. x 5 ft. Old Glory. This American flag flies off of a custom flagpole in front of a middle school. Two solar lights, strapped half way up this flagpole wait to light the flag once the sun is gone. Halyard stretches from the top pulley to a welded cleat at waist-height. From the carving in the cement base to the ornament on top, This display proves you don't need a massive display, a huge flag, or a mega flagpole to make a huge statement.

Is there a simple but beautiful display in your neighborhood? Next time you pass by, take a moment to appreciate the love that went into it. If you are so inclined, take a picture and tell us about it.
